September 27, 2009 Our condolences to the extended Pass family with the passing of Pastor Eugene Pass. It was a privilege to have known him. We owe him an un-payable debt from his teaching us that Jesus Christ is the one and only living God, that he died for our sins and that with our confessing and repenting of sin we can be saved by his sacrifice on the cross for us. More than that Eugene taught us who Jesus is and that his word in the bible is a living testimony to whoever will read it and heed it. He taught us that God's word is forever, unchanging and immutable and that it can not be compromised or watered down, that it says what it says and means what it says, all of it. Eugene taught us that Jesus will claim us all some day for eternity if we only claim him as Lord through the knowledge of him and his word, and that God keeps his promises. Eugene taught that no matter who you are or what you believe, that one day will come for all that, Every Knee Will Bow, and Every Tong Confess, That Jesus Christ is Lord. Our hope is that one day he will say to us what he will say to Eugene Pass, welcome, Thou Good and Faithfull Servant.
