Mary Lou Strom was the center of positive actions for the Enfield community and of the vital friendships she nurtured. I am grateful for the time I shared with her. Although I only met her four years ago, she was a close friend, a role model, and a person who always found joy and goodness in every situation. I am one of many who will miss her smile, advice, and especially her laugh and sense of fun. I deeply regret that I am too far away to return in time for the funeral. However Mary Lou will be in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.
