Donald C. Lang, 65, of Broad Brook, beloved husband of Janice A. (King) Lang for 40 years, entered into eternal rest, Monday, February 25, 2008 at home. The son of the late John and Margaret (Corry) Lang, Donald was born February 23, 1943 in Hartford, CT. A graduate of East Windsor High School, Donald received his Bachelors Degree in International Relations, from Brown University, Providence RI. He had resided in Enfield for 31 years, moving to Broad Brook in 2003. Prior to his retirement, Donald was employed for 30 years with the Hartford Insurance, Co. as a Litigation Specialist. Don loved Block Island and spent as much time as he could there with his family. His last visit with the "whole crew" to his special island was this past Thanksgiving. Besides his wife Janice, Donald is survived by his family; Kerry Tanguay and husband James of Enfield, Christin Gress and husband John of Cheshire and Matthew Lang and wife Debra, of Enfield, 7 grandchildren; Corey and Kevin Tanguay, Avery and Brodie Gress and Cassidy, Kylie and Jack Lang. He also leaves a sister, Joan Marcy of Aiken, SC. A Memorial Service in celebration of Donald's life will be held 11 am Friday, February 29, 2008 at The Broad Brook Congregational Church, 122 Main St. Broad Brook.
