Frank M.  Dentamaro, Jr.
Frank M. Dentamaro, Jr of Enfield beloved husband of Lorraine Zaccaro Dentamaro passed away surrounded by his loving family at St. Francis Hospital Thursday April 6, 2006. Frank was born in Hartford the son of the late Frank & Rose (Longo) Dentamaro. He lived in East Hartford for over thirty years before moving to Enfield where he and his wife/best friend Lorraine raised their family. He received his Bachelors of Science from Central Connecticut College and his Masters Degree in Social Services from New Hampshire College. Frank worked for over thirty years as a Rehabilitation Counselor in the Social Service department for the State of Connecticut at the former Blue Hills Hospital in Hartford, retiring in 1997. Frank was a US Army Veteran. He also volunteered his time with the Enfield Democratic Town committee for over a decade, as a Boy Scout leader, active with his children sports, and involved with Little League. Frank will be deeply missed by all his family especially his wife and best friend Lorraine, his children: Anthony & his wife Veronica Dentamaro of Stafford Springs, Angela Edwards of Enfield, Michael Dentamaro of Enfield and Theresa Dentamaro of East Hartford. He is also survived by a brother Angelo Dentamaro of PA, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Leon & Irene Zaccaro of Suffield, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Frank was also predeceased by his brother Anthony. Calling hours for Frank will be held Sunday 4-7 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday (April 10, 2006) 1:30 pm at St. Adalbert's Church Alden Ave. Funeral procession will gather at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 12:30 pm Monday. Burial will follow with military honors in the Hillside Cemetery, Roberts St. E. Hartford. Memorial donations may be made to: the American Diabetes Association 306 Industrial Park Rd.
