Frank A.  Rudolf, Sr.
Frank A. Rudolf, Sr., 82 – our much loved father, whose earthly journey ended on Friday February 13, 2009 at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown, CT surrounded by his family. He was born April 29, 1926, in Dracut MA; a long term resident of Enfield CT. He served as a veteran in the Pacific theater of World War II with the US Navy. He was predeceased by his loving wife June (Verge), parents, Walenty and Anna Rudolf, brothers, Stanley and Mitchell and sisters, Kaye and Olga. He leaves behind his dear sister, Blanche; his cherished children; Deborah (Martha Roberts) Rudolf, Frank Rudolf, Kerrie (Chris) Flanagan, Dorothy (Dan) Dube, Mitch (Debbie) Rudolf, and John Rudolf and his sister-in-law Dorothy (Alden) Koehler. He was the proud grandfather to Terence (Jamie) and Seth Ewan (Barbara) Connors, Amy and Stacy Rudolf, Derrick, Ryan, and Paul Dube, and Michael and Daniel Rudolf. Frank was a dedicated member of the William P. Kilcoyne 4th Degree Assembly and Past Grand Knight of Council 50, Knights of Columbus and Council 72 Knights of Columbus, Lowell, MA; also a long time member and Past Commander of the American Legion Tanguay Magill Post 80, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Enfield Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 2222 and AMVETS Post 18. Prior to his retirement, Frank was employed with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for over twenty five years.

Funeral services for Frank will be held on Monday February 16, 2009 with the funeral procession forming at 9 a.m. from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield to St. Martha's Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Martha's Church 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield. Interment with military honors will follow in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. Frank's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday February 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the Frank A. Rudolf, Sr., Memorial Fund at Rockville Bank, 231 Hazard Avenue, Enfield, CT. To the extent possible, this fund will be used to complete certain community projects at Mark Twain Congregate Living and the Knights of Columbus, in accordance with his wishes.
