Hi Mom: Birthday 2/2/2021

Hi Mom: Birthday 2/2/2021

Hi Mom, Happy Birthday Month:

I know the past few years of your life was spent at Kimberly Hall and Rocky and I would visit you 3-4 times a week and sometimes daily there.  Leeanne too visited you.  Lisa when she could, as well as, Timothy too.  Mom, I wanted you home with me but I never seemed well enough to take on that challenge since you too were ill.  That has now become a regret that I can do nothing about.  But, prior to Kimberly Hall ... I missed you coming over almost daily to give me a hard time about whatever was on your mind at the moment.  How we fought over silly unimportant things -- If I had my life and yours with me to do over again -- I would change nothing except that ... I would not argue anymore ... I would hug more and do more to love you every minute you were with us.  I know that is not real life but somehow that is what it should be -- love and hugs always!

This month is your Birthday, it was Feb 2nd.  Your last Birthday at 89 was spent at my house, ballons and cake with Leeanne and Rob, Neil and Rocky and me ... we spent it togther at dinner.  You looked happy and well that day on Feb 2, 2017 ...you never looked your age, not even at 89 years young!  It was less than 2 months when we lost you after a fall at Kimberly Hall.  You went downhill so fast after that fall.  You had forgotten your fall but never us! You never forgot Rocky, Leeanne or me!  We were your constant!  Thank goodness!

This is 2021 and we are still in Covid19 era -- still a virus that is taking lives and families who are unable to say goodbye -- due to it being too contagious!  Perhaps in a year, after the vaccine, people can go back to some sort of normal -- I know the World is hoping for that chance.  I know you would hate wearing the masks, hate not being able to wear your red lipstick ... as you and Aunt Lillian always loved your lip-stick -- you always looked so pretty Mom.  Your both gone but never forgotten!  I'd like to think you were right and there is a heaven out there -- to know you can still see me -- even if I can not see you -- only in my dreams or when I close my eyes and remember -- that is how I can reflect and try and understand -- and see you!  I talk to you as I am writting this and when the snow goes away this winter I will go to the stone and freshen it up this Spring for you, Dad and Raymond.  I know you would want that.  Leeanne bought you a new Squirel for the grave area and I will add it this Spring.  Its time to say gooodbye for now and send you all my love and include a big hug for all ... and you can pass it on Mom.  Wherever you are -- I wish only special thoughts and love be with you! -- Death is so final -- it hurts so much!  Love your daughter Yvonne
