Condolence: My deepest sympathies to Mike's family and friends. I never met Mike personally, but looked forward each sabbath to hearing his robust and cheery voice calling me and asking if I was "ready to get hooked up" for sevices over the phone. He never failed to ask how I was, and would gently admonish me when I missed a few weeks of services. I'll miss him.

Condolence: Dear Michele, Michael and Family,
It says in Psalm 116:15, "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints." We too will dearly miss your father's cheerful countenance and zest for life. We will long remember the many hours counseling with him and count it an honor and a joy to have been involved in his baptism and your mother's funeral. It was with great anticipation that he looked forward to the peaceful, beautiful world to come and to be with his beloved wife of 34 years once again. We, too, look forward to that day! May our loving Father grant you strength and comfort at this time.

Condolence: Pete and I met Mike in Rapid City at the Feast of Tabernacles in 2005. Pete immediately struck up a friendship with Mike. We went out to eat and shared a few good times together in the brief time we knew him. He was a character and the kind of man one does not forget easily. We could see he loved God and that he had also loved his family dearly. We were sorry to hear of his passing! Our deepest condolenses to his family and close friends out east, and to everyone that Mike touched.

Condolence: Just a brief thank you to all the Members of Mike's church, It was amazing to see that he touched so many lives in his short time together with all of you, I met many of you for the first time at the service and you all were as gracious and supportive as any family member could be. you all described him as we his family also remember him and will always remember him. Again thank you for your love of Mike and your support to the family

Condolence: Mike Flaherty, a man who said he wasn't book smart was a faithful student of the greatest book ever written, the Bible. Mike always had a glow about him when he talked about his children, Michelle, your Dad was so very proud of your graduation, and Michael Jr., your Dad was so very proud that you are learning a new trade. The ride to Sabbath Services will be empty without Mike. He was a vibrant and caring man. I look forward to talking to Mike again in The Kingdom of God, 1Thess 4:13-16

Condolence: I met Mike In Rapid City last year and he left a lasting impression with me. He is one of those people you meet and it's like you have know him all your life! He is one of the most out going and generious people I've met. His life and the example he set reflected his deep beleif in God. We will miss him deeply! Mike Kreyer

Condolence: I was saddened to hear of the sudden death of Mike. Mike was a man with a quick smile and wit, and he loved others enough to tell them when he thought they were wrong. He did it with yankee style.

This physical life is short, and Mike finished his race strong.
