Condolence From: James Morton and Family
Condolence: First, I share my gratitude to you Joe for your presence in my life and the impact you had on me and so many others. Your rich insights on life, your passion for living, and your easy nature has made indelible marks in all of our lives, particularly mine. As I shared with you before, you carried a wisdom that was beyond your years. Thank you for reconnecting after many years.

Second, Paul and Elaine I am very sorry. I don’t have any special prayer or voice for condolences. I am just sad and sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve and come to terms with loosing Joey. Nichole, Paula, Rich, and Ed, you all have been my surrogate brothers and sisters, albeit my waywardness. Like my comment to your mom and dad, I don’t have any words that can give any solace. Nonetheless, I continue to hold your family in my thoughts and prayers in this daunting transition.

Third, I share my condolences to all who have had the privilege to either be connected directly to Joe or who have been touched by his care through another. We share a great loss of a man who has encouraged and supported our being just ourselves, without pretenses or facades.
May Joe’s life exemplify to all of us forgiveness of grievances by others, compassion to care for the unwanted, and humility to walk among the least able. Thank you for sharing these qualities with me.

Love you Joe and godspeed

Condolence: To the Entire Williams Family:
I am so sad to learn of the passing of your beloved son, brother, father and husband. Personally I will miss and mourn the loss of a very close and endearing friend and neighbor. As the brother of several of my good friends - Ed, Richard, Paula, Nicole and Steven - I have very fond memories of spending time with Joe. In our youth, swimming, fishing and playing hockey on the lake, to our later times boating, trips to Lake Champlain and many, many others. Elaine and Paul, I wish I had words for you, but I would be remiss to say I do. I would just like to express personal heart-felt condolences to both of you who have always been there for me and my brothers as surrogate parents. Joe was a good-hearted sole and you should both be very proud of his life and successes. I’m sure he’ll be missed dearly at the Williams home. I saw a prayer once that has always stuck with me - I can only hope it will assist in minimizing your suffering in some small way during this very difficult time.
In the nature of full disclosure I did not write this, nor do I know who did….My only wish is that you can benefit from it as I have….. It’s called: God Saw You Getting Tired.

God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,
"Come to Me"
With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A Larger-than-Life sized heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best
From the Tallis and Fedo Family, Gary, John, Patrick, Mom (Pat) and Pops (Ronnie) Please Accept Our Deepest Sorrows and Heart-Felt Condolences as we join you and your family in mourning Joe’s passing.
